My BEST friend started ignoring and avoiding me?

were both homeskooled we only c each other wed and sun unless we go 2 each other's house. last wed, she couldn't come to the cl we take that night she had 2 help her mom with preskool. soo after cl i went to say bye to her. this has happened b4, and usually she gives me a hug and says 'c u ___'. but last wed she kinda brushed me off and talked to some other girl who she usually doesnt pay attention 2. last nite she was online, so i sent her some ims. she wouldn't respond. shes never doen this b4. then 2day, in sunday skool, i saved her a seat like always cuz she arrives late. she sat next to her sister, who she almost hates. and i saw her using a silver flip fone that i'd never seen her with b4. i asked,'is that yours?' she said, 'yeah my gramma gave it to me,' and turned away. she never even told me. i tried talking to her, she just avoided me. she used to share a fone with her sis. now that shared fone is her sister's, but they lost it, so i have no number for them. she wouldn't come to youth with me, like we always do, and instead went with the other girl who she talked to on wed to where she goes, a diffrent cl. so i went to youth and sat with my other friend. after that i went to my mom's sunday skool cl, which happens to be the one the other girl goes to. so my best friend was there, playing on her dad's iPhone while her and my parents chatted. i asked her what game she was playing, she didn't answer. then she had to go, so i said 'bye, Amy!' she mumbled 'bye' and left. then she and her sister showed up a little later while i was helping my parents pack up, and Amy acted like nothing was wrong. so later, we're leaving. then i remember that Amy's fone number would have changed. so i'm wandering the church looking for her. i see her peeking through a door. as soon as she saw me, she took off. she's avoiding and ignoring me! why? what did i do? last sunday everything was perfectly fine. she wasn't any different. it all started last wednesday! to my knowlage, i've done absoulutly NOTHING to offened her. nothing. her sister Kayna and her two brothers, Karub and Bradakeyz, acted the same as they always did. Can loneliness cause depression?

I wonder if you have had personal experiences with that problem. I am married but my husband drives truck over the road, he's gone 3-4 weeks, spends 2-3 days home when he comes. Really when he's home, he spends most of his time in the computer. I do EVERYTHING when he's gone, I pay ALL the bills, I go grocery shopping, I keep our house very clean and organized, the yard mowed, put garbage out, wash the car every week, bathe our 2 dogs and take care of them, go to work everyday (I'm a CNA), fix things that break in my house, take care of the garden, grow vegetables and pick them, take care of myself physically (walk everyday, eat well, do my own nails, etc), read books, do my quilts, study (going to start my prereqs for nursing school soon), etc. I am not American, and I have no relatives in the country. We've been living in our place for 2 yrs now, I've tried making some good friends with some people from my church, but it seems that they have their own little groups. I try reaching out for them. On the weekend I get really really bad at being depressed and lonely, especially at night time. I leave the TV on for most afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays, at least I hear somebody talk. I hate total silence, unless I'm reading a book, but I still leave some kind of noise so I can think someone is around me. Some moments I like to stay by myself, I think it's healthy to stay alone sometimes. But staying alone all the time and being rejected all the time by people kinda puts me down even worse. As I said, I am a CNA, and I take care of 2 Alzheimer's patients in a home health setting right now, and it really makes me feel good to be helping them, as they appreciate my help and I learn a lot with them (patience, endurance, compion, etc). But I would like to feel good in my personal life too! Don't I have this right? What should I do to improve my loneliness/depression? I appreciate your honest and serious opinions. Thanks a lot.

On his plan, you eat tons of green vegetables, adequate protein, enough fat to use as your primary energy source. But you also read about all the health reasons to stay away from a high carbohydrate diet, like obesity, diabetes and heart disease. You also learn that it shouldn't be a diet that you have to eventually go off of, it's just your new way of eating. And really, after a few weeks, you'll feel so good and have so much energy, you'll never consider going back to your old ways. Read the book, then do the diet. Please don't just rely on what friends say, or what you think the diet is all about.

Health question about depression,black cohosh or prescription medicine safest and best?

My antidepresant quit working so i stopped using it about four months ago. now I am getting horrible depression and bad nerves worse than ever before, also starting menopause. The better churches have not set rules for giving. The scriptures tell us that those who have much, much is expected of them and those who have little, little is expected of them. This concept should also apply to tithing. When i was homeless no one ever told me i could not attend the Church or the Mes just because i had shabby clothes and no money to donate. In fact the Church frequently used the donations to give me things I needed and most often without me even asking. In my opinion this is the proper usage and collection of tithes. Many people know the letter of the law but totally miss the point and do not understand the Spirit of the law, which is certainly much more important. Peace be with you.

How do I convince my mom to let me wear tampons?

I'm turning fourteen in a little over a month and have been having my period since I was ten. I think I'm a pretty responsible person. My sister ped away about 3 years ago. I'd gotten into a huge argument with her older daughter (my sister knew nothing of this) because my niece had been treating my sister like garbage, and here the poor woman was dying of cancer. This altercation took place in a nursing home, but as I said my sister heard none of this. My niece called me a dirty name so I called her one back and a nurse told me to leave, so I did. This niece had a memorial service for her mother but I did not go because of the terrible argument we'd had (I'd been defending my sister, as my niece had been so nasty to her and showed her NO mercy, even though she was in the last stages of cancer). Hard to fathom, I know, but this niece is nasty to EVERYONE, I'm not exaggerating. Anyhow, I found out later that my niece has a friend who is married to a police officer, and she claimed she'd have had me arrested if I'd gone to the service at the funeral home, a public place of course. Would this have been legal if I'd done nothing wrong, but just attended? By the way, the memorial took place in a state other than the one this man is a police officer in. I don't break laws, and had I attended I certainly would not have done anything inappropriate. Could I have been arrested just for being there? I was denied the last opportunity to pay my respects for my dear sister, and of course I can never get that chance back. In my opinion, what this daughter of hers did was vicious and inexcusable. I had no intention of doing anything improper. Would it do me any good to report the police officer to his chief? I'm not sure, but I don't think a person can be prevented from attending a service in a public building, unless they cause a scene or something and I would never in a million years have done that. Also, my niece called me a vile name in the nursing home and all I did was reciprocate (quietly). Why wasn't she told to leave? Wasn't that discrimination? I'm wondering if I have a legal case - anyone know, or have any advice as to whether I can take legal action? Thank you in advance.

Question about diabetes?

This guy I work with has diabetes and he checks his blood sugar every 2 hours. And most the time it is low, so he will eat something like fig newtons, chocolate chip cookies, coffee cake or fruit. I asked him what he eats for breakfast and lunch and he says cereal and sandwiches. If he didn't eat all those carbs and processed snacks, wouldn't his blood sugar be under control? I Can't hear sound on Computer, no multimedia audio controller?

First of all I am running a Windows XP 2000 Home edition OS. Okay, so I have gone to device manager and uninstalled the sound device because it had a yellow exclamation point. I rebooted my computer, and the system did detect new hardware. So I go to install that. Once the installation was complete, a window popped up saying The file vinyl97.sys on Vinyl AC97 Codec Combo WDM Disk Driver is needed. Than it says type the path where the file is located and click okay. I click okay, but nothing happens. Where would I find the path to this file? This is the driver that came up when I rebooted my computer, is it the wrong one? How do I find the right sound driver? I'm a little computer savvy, but not a technician. I just want my sound back, and every time I try something, I'm back to square one. My cousin did a re installation on my computer a while back. He had to fiddle around with the sound on my computer to get it to work after the re installation. It worked for a good while, but recently the sound isn't working and came up with No Multimedia Audio Controller. Could he have downloaded a different sound driver after the re installation or a similar one that would work temporarily with my computer? How would I trace my computer back to when the sound was working? Sorry about the long question, but please help, this is annoying.

BSOD on new build!!!?

I just upgraded my computer's motherboard/processor/embly and I'm getting a BSOD that's too fast to read. The Windows boot screen just freezes up and BSOD's extremly fast. And when I try to boot in safe mode it freezes while loading "giveio.sys." The current setup is a Q9300 processor, DFI LanParty DK board and Corsair XMS2 memory. I checked and the memory isn't DOA, the board seems fine, the processor is fine, and so are the hard drives. The cpu isn't overclocked and after trying to boot with multiple drives and Windows installations I stil can't get it to boot. I plan on installing Vista 64 on a new drive, but wanted to get it running on XP Pro 32 for now. Is this all OS related?

What happened to my South American Cichlids?! HELP?

I had a very large column tank, in my tank I had 5 Blood Red Parrot Cichlids, a turquoise Severum, a jack dempsey and a convict cichlid. All of these fish I have had for years, so behavior is out of the question as well as tank size. I went away for two nights (mini vacation) and had my parents take care of the pets, the fish and my cat. I came home this morning only to find my tank full of black water and every fish is dead!!!! I'm furious and they have no idea what happened. If anyone could provide insight on what they think happened I would greatly appreciate it. The heater and filter were still functioning normally, however I have drained the tank and rinsed all the ornaments and gravel. I do not even want to begin putting a tank back together until I know what caused this. I've had cichlids all my life and have never seen anything like this

Which of these books should I read?

Most definitely J.D Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye , it's one of my favorite books and I absolutely adore it. Rand's The Fountainhead is really well written as well, but incredibly long, and Anthem is fairly short but is really a pleasant read. So ,that being said, I think 1984 by George Orwell should be your second book to read, but maybe it's because I am the biggest sucker for dystopian novels.

Both my husband and I are fully grown adults who smoke Marlboro Reds and Newports. On random occasions when we are nowhere near anyone else who is smoking ANYthing else, we both smell the weed in our own or each other's cigarette! We can't believe it and it is a funny topic of conversation every time it pops up. I can't imagine we are mistakenly smelling anything else that also smells like pot that would be in cigarettes. Housebreaking puppy please help?

My 9 wk. old Scottish Terrier puppy refuses to go to the bathroom outside. I have him on a strict feeding schedule per vets advice. About 20 minutes after eating he starts sniffing & circling the floor but when I take him out he wont go. I bring him back in wait until he shows signs again then take him back out, still refuses to go outside. I have cleaned the "accident areas" in the house with Natures Miracle so there is no scent to draw him. When he's outside all he wants to do is chew on everything in site instead of do his business. I have tried using a squirt bottle & pennies in a can to deter this behavior to no avail. Also, even though I get up at least 2-3 times during the night to take him out he will pee in his cage. His cage is dry when I take him out, he refuses to go, I take him back in wait 15-30 minutes and he has peed in his cage. I thought dogs didn't like to go in their "den". I have a divider in the cage to make it as small an area as possible so he wont soil his sleeping area. Any adice? I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am at my wits end. Never had these problems with other puppies in the past.

Skipping periods?

I've been on the pill for about 11 years now. Since my normal period (yes, even on birth control) lasts about 12 days, I've gotten pretty sick of it, and for the past year have been skipping it for months at a time...I think 5 months is my max. Occasionally I'll stop taking my pills and let it happen, just for nature's sake, but its just such a pain in the bum, amongst other parts. Question is - is there a real health problem with this? There are pills out there that let you skip it for 3 months, and also the shot, which makes it so you never have it, so whats the difference and any risk. Please be mature about this and dont give me "Ewww gross" etc. Also, if you don't actually know, please don't just throw something out there - this is my health.

I mean so your blood sugar is normal. or take 1000 mg of vitamin C and the special zinc lozenges. they can help but you may be in for the need of antibiotics. my husband just had a bad case and his first. he got a new job at the airport in hard hit michigan. he used to design cad eng for new constructions now he goes outside doing maintenance help work. and he got sick as all the guys do. he had to be on antibiotic.

He didn't give her a ticket but a stern warning. After he left, she told me that never was a law years ago. We are planning a double story extension to the rear of our house. The original roof planned was a simple gable end. Neighbours have complained that we are blocking out their light, so I was thinking as a compromise I could slice off the corner of the roof ie. creating a half-hip (barn-hip) end. Windows 7 will not connect to wifi hotspot in kuwait?

I'm a soldier in kuwait. I got windows 7 on a new laptop. It says "Windows was unable to connect to Wataniya" which is what my old laptop is on at this very moment. I click troubleshoot problems but it says "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem" It simply will not connect to the wifi hotspot. I hear that I can take my computer to the locals and they will do 'something' to it to make it work. If anyone knows what I could do to fix it myself I would be really thankful. I find it strange as to how some people get completely thrown off a question when there is a single spelling error, such as typing "partriotic" instead of "patriotic". They completely lose all understanding of the question asked and become fixated on that spelling error alone. I just realised that the most probable causes for this are either retardation, some kids abusing the age criteria of this website and cannot find the word in the dictionary, or that it is actually a computer program that cannot read in between lines or follow context to realise that it may have simply been a typo. How do i get rid of the pacifier for a 3 1/2 month? He wakes up looking for it?

Its getting worse every night. He used to sleep very very well, and all of the sudden he wakes up 5-6 times and the only way is to give him the pacifier... I've been letting him cry (rubbing his back, and gently talking, kissing, etc)for 2 nights and not giving him the pacifier at all during day or night...but i dont think i can keep doing it. any ideas?

i think you may well be pregnant. people have asked what symptoms i had and i did not think of the one where i was felling wet down there. and the cramps i got all 3 symptoms the wetness the cramps and very sore . i thought i was going to get my af but i am pregnant 8/12 weeks now. when i got the cramps i had a hot water bottle over my tummy and that was about a week before i was due my af. so i just thought it would be af as last af was early.i hope you get your BFP this month. good luck. and keep us posted. lol.xxxx

Adjusting B&M Z-Gate Shifter?

I recently installed a B&M Z-Gate Shifter on my 1979 Ford Bronco and I have noticed that the shifter does not feel the same when shifting through certain gears. When I shift from Neutral to Reverse, there is less tension on the shifter and it takes less force to shift it. The same thing happens when I shift from Reverse to Park. It feels like there is less of a jolt when shifting between Neutral and Reverse, and Reverse and Park. Is there any way to adjust the shifter for certain gears, or does an adjustment affect the way the shifter works for every gear?

T-mobile sidekick slide problems?

So i got my sidekick slide scarlet 4 months ago off ebay. It was brand new never opened. Well now im having some problems with it. Well i charged it over night and when i unplugged it it dropped 3 bars of battery within 5 minutes. Then it also erased my contacts and everything on my phone twice like 2 weeks ago. Sometimes the trackball doesn't work at all but then it starts working 5 minutes later. It also has freezed up twice. Ive had a phone that was faulty and i got a new one for free. Do you think t-mobile would be able to give me a new one? Cuz these problems are getting annoying. But even though they discontinued the sidekick slide would they be able to send me one if they found it was faulty?

Okay, yesterday morning my 4 year old mare got to much hay and she was laying down. She wont eat or drink right now. Tell me about Maxi Dresses, they are so cute?

I'm pretty short about 5'1 but I loove how cute maxi dresses look. I've seen celebrities like Hilary Duff and Vanessa Hudgens in Maxi Dresses also and they are around my height and the dresses look long on them also. I bought one today but i'm not sure what to do because its so long I don't want it to drag on the ground and get holes. I would say my best option would either get it altered.. :( or buy cute wedges to wear with them. If you were a natural blond before I'm sure you'd have no problem pulling the look off. But being 12 years old, I really wouldn't. If your parents have no problem with you dying your hair, then by all means go for it! Don't worry about what other people think of you, it's your hair, you do what you want with it. But again, being 12 years old, I personally wouldn't do it if I were in your position. I'm 22 and I've dyed my hair numerous times, and going blonde was one of my biggest mistakes! I went blonde when I was in 10th grade (15 yrs old), and it did extensive damage on my hair. I was only blonde for about two weeks, until I dyed my hair brown again. Since my hair was dark I had to use bleach, and it burned my hair, caused I don't know how many split ends, it was horrible. So again, I don't recommend you dying your hair at such a young age, but like I said, if your parents have no problem with you dying your hair, then go for it. Hope this helps!

Audio on imovie not working?!?! HELP!?

okay so the audio on my imovie 08 isn't working. I've used it before and it worked fine but when i tried to use it today and record a vid (using the built in camera on my imac) it recorded the vid fine but the audio wasn't there. The volume on my computer is fine and the audio on vids that i've recorded previously work. It's just this vid that isn't working.I also recorded 3 testers after that vid to make sure the audio wasn't working. it . Help me please!!

A few years ago there was a game pre-installed into my computer, it was a Build-A-Civilization-And-Make-War type game. I think it had various tribes of natives and Indians, I could make elephant riders, archers and such. There was also a final big building that you could build to win the round, like a big aztec temple. You could build walls and upgrade, attack the opposing tribe(s) make your custom games. 2 part response and thought and i want a view from others. First Pittsburgh has had cb's that are average and maybe a bit above average, but nothing spectacular. They don't need to be because they are made to look better then they really are because the d-line creates the pressure. So why is it that people think we need db in the draft first? sure when Troy goes down things go haywire, but at the corner position it doesn't make sense. What we need to do is address the line!!! That will fix the cb problem that people think we have. Second Why in the hell do we need so many receivers at such a value. We can go a bit cheap with receivers i mean we got holmes, ward, randle el, wallace, sweed, and on and on. Wallace is still developing and all though sweed has been a disappointment so far he really hasn't had the time to develop and most definitely wont if we keep bringing in these receivers. I think (regardless of Mike Tomlin winning the super bowl) he has lost his mind in focusing what steelers do best and that's be froogle and draft quality players. If it were me i would of skipped so many receivers in free agent and i would of gave up alot in the draft to get suh or what ever his name is from nebraska that would of fixed the corner issue, made the line younger, and allowed our wrs to develop. I just walked into the building and somebody that didn't look like an employee to the place came up to me and asked me if I graduated from a college yet. I just shook my head and kept walking. A few days before this happened, I was also at Siam Paragon and by the escalators, a woman asked me the same question (but she asked, "Are you a student at Chulalongkorn University?"). I'm curious, they weren't selling anything so why did they ask me this question? They weren't doing a survey because they didn't have any papers or fliers (and like I said, they weren't employees either because they were dressed normally just like me). But they had to have a reason and I'm just trying to figure out what their motive was. Any and every bit of help is appreciated, thanks! FYI, I look Thai but speak English a lot better.
