Did u give your baby a pacifier? ?

if so, is he or she still attached to it? or did he or she gave it up? and what month? My son is gonna be 8 months soon and My husband gave our son his first pacifier when he was like 3 weeks old. this morning I gave him the thing and he took it out of his mouth and threw it out of the play pin...my kids washed it and gave it back and again he threw it out. I think he dont want it no more. that is a good sign for me. I hate those things.
