I have set my thermostat to 7 degress to fire up the boiler during my trip abroad.?

Okay the reason you have heat on in the winter is to prevent your water system and pipes from freezing up, at 7 degrees you are really taking a chance, so if you blow up your boiler that is only about a $7,000 replacement job, so what are you saving?
