Adjusting B&M Z-Gate Shifter?

I recently installed a B&M Z-Gate Shifter on my 1979 Ford Bronco and I have noticed that the shifter does not feel the same when shifting through certain gears. When I shift from Neutral to Reverse, there is less tension on the shifter and it takes less force to shift it. The same thing happens when I shift from Reverse to Park. It feels like there is less of a jolt when shifting between Neutral and Reverse, and Reverse and Park. Is there any way to adjust the shifter for certain gears, or does an adjustment affect the way the shifter works for every gear?
