In US v Nixon, Once Congress finally got access to some of the tapes, what did they prove?

That Nixon approved hush money for the burglars and instructed his advisers to tell the FBI to stop their investigation or else it would lead to the CIA and the "Bay of Pigs." In other words that Nixon blatantly obstructed justice by trying to get the FBI to cease their investigation of his cronies breaking into the DNC headquarters.
