Why do people Choose NOT to wear a seat-belt?

I would like to stop when the car does so I wear mine always.Here in Florida I am saddened by the number of fatalities caused by people not wearing them! Over 1200 people died last year, many of them just old enough to drive.Multiply that number by ten and that's how many lives were affected.Family,friends, relatives, teachers. All of this is preventable.
